We’re delighted to release to you our second set of 2009s, an offering which includes our single-vineyard Mendocino County Pinot Noirs and three Sonoma County Syrahs. 2009 was an extremely compelling vintage throughout the North Coast and we hope the wines reflect that.

As always (though it certainly bears repeating), we’d like to extend a very hearty and well-deserved thanks to all of our growers. 2009 was sandwiched between two challenging vintages but, no matter the challenges of any year, they farm their vineyards with foresight, thoughtfulness, and consistency. These wines are a testament to their talents.

We’d like to offer a reminder of (and an update to) our ordering process: we guarantee all posted allocations for the three weeks between September 13th and October 4th. Please order what you’d like from your allocation and make any (and all) wish-list requests during this time. After October 4th, we’ll grant wish-list requests for what remains.

Please make sure to do this; we work to grant as many requests as we can!

After a short period of granting wishes, we’ll open up the offering for any wines that remain. Regardless of the guarantee, we think it makes sense to order and wish-list-request as early as possible so you can receive the wines you’d like. And, last, we’ll be having our Pickup Day on November 5th from 12-4pm. We’d love to see you there.
